The Toondah Harbour scheme released by the Government on Saturday is only slightly less worse than the version released in January. It still provides for multi-storey buildings around G.J. Walter Park, 10 storey buildings around the ferry terminal and a 400 berth marina destroying seagrass beds, tidal mudflats and mangroves next to G.J. Walter Park.
The Government has not accepted that the Cleveland community would prefer the ferry terminal to be upgraded with a modest and more intelligently designed scheme.
