Cr Paul Bishop
Councillor Paul Bishop – Division 10

At the Redlands Town Hall meeting on Monday 18 May 2026 our guest speaker will be Cr Paul Bishop (Division 10).

Cr Paul Bishop will provide an overview of his Council Portfolio of Arts, Culture and Heritage.

Toondah Harbour

Following Walker Group’s decision to withdraw as the development partner for Toondah Harbour, Redlands2030 would like to reflect on 12 years of campaigning to save the Bay from inappropriate development, with a presentation prepared by Doug Cox.

Then our attention will turn to the question of what now for Toondah Harbour?

In 2024 a community vision and Plan for Toondah Harbour was prepared for the Toondah Alliance of community groups by John Mongard Landscape Architects. Chris Walker will discuss the Plan’s preparation, and feedback gained from community and stakeholder engagement about the Plan.

Other Business

Other items on the meeting agenda include:

  • Aircraft noise over the Redlands
  • Preview of Redland City Council meeting on Wednesday 20 May, and other Council news;
  • Redland City Council’s EPBC referral of the proposed Olympic whitewater facility and Birkdale Community Precinct – update.
