Toondah Harbour Project Update
- What is the Toondah Harbour Project?
- Will it benefit the community?
- Why does it seem nothing’s happening?
Just some of the questions to be discussed at a Redlands2030 community update:
Date: Saturday 10 September 2016
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Place: Middle Street end of G.J. Walter Park, just before the ferry terminal (Google Maps)
Meet the Redlands2030 crew and others in the community who are concerned about the scope, scale and impacts of the project proposed by Walker Corporation.
Drop in to the information tent for tea/coffee and a chat.
We’ll have sausages sizzling as well.
Learn about developments proposed over a 20 year construction period and tell us what you think is needed.
The project as currently proposed (see the Walker Corporation Master Plan below) would adversely affect the Toondah koalas, critically endangered shorebirds and internationally recognised Ramsar wetlands.
