Following success of last call for photos of your favourite place in the Redlands of 2014. More ‘snaps’ are urgently required by Redlands2030.net. Members and members of the public are invited to “snap” their favourite location now…before it goes? We need your pictures of the places, things or events that help make the Redlands your favourite place to live or help to explain why you live here!
Your high quality images are best but any smart phone image would be welcome.
We hope to gather the places you like to visit, the places you like to eat and the places you like to recreate including bike rides, picnic spots, jogging tracks, swimming places, best places for boating and sailing. Greenspace and lookouts are always favourites and walking tracks, dogs at play or your favourite cafe are also welcome.
Photos of local flora and fauna such as whales, koalas, birds, dugongs, possums … all add to what makes the Redlands special…
The places might be of historic and heritage places or places that are special to you and your friends.
Help build an archive for future generations or Redlands as it was in 2014!!
Perhaps you could record what the Toondah harbour and Weinam Creek PDA areas looked like …… before the rush to build over the parks, wetlands. mangroves and waterways came to fuition. Perhaps the best legacy we can leave for future generations …so they might judge whether we were mired in the folly of another $$ or were truly “building” a better future?
Send you “snaps” or photographs to:
All your photographs will be welcomed and appreciated … we expect all (or at least most) will help us add to our You Tube Channel and record as much as possible of the Redlands 2014. In years to come this record will be an important archive for future generations.
